Anna C. Gil, DNP, BC-ADM
Anna Celia Gil is a Board Certified Family Practice Nurse Practitioner credentialed through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and a member of the Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society. She earned her Master of Science degree at South University and earned her Doctorate at Abilene Christian University with a secondary Board Certification in Advanced Diabetes Management. Anna is an active member of the California Association for Nurse Practitioners, the Institute of Functional Medicine, and the American Association of Diabetes Educators.
Anna’s background as a critical care nurse for 6 years prior to becoming a nurse practitioner provides her a unique perspective on exacerbations of chronic illness and an astute clinical eye. Her care philosophy focuses on disease prevention and health promotion, with the belief that wellness is multifaceted and not limited to merely the absence of disease. Anna believes that optimal health is reached through a partnership between the patient and the provider, and she strives to motivate and empower her patients to become active participants in their healthcare journey.
During her free time, Anna enjoys spending time with her husband and son. She is an avid pilates and yoga practitioner, loves reading and listening to music. She also enjoys attending medical conferences to learn about healthcare innovations and how to integrate them into her patients' care.
